Fruugo and Optimus-PM enter global marketing partnership
London, June 2013 – Fruugo.com, the global shopping marketplace, today announces its partnership with Optimus Performance Marketing, the UK and Europe’s largest affiliate programme management and ecommerce consultancy.
The partnership will give Optimus clients the ability to offer their products and services to a global audience courtesy of leading-edge technology deployed by Fruugo.
Fruugo operates a unique cross-border global shopping platform, into which Optimus’s clients can now be easily introduced and integrated allowing them to reach new shoppers, worldwide via Fruugo’s multi-language, multi-currency marketplace.
Shoppers in any of the 23 current Fruugo countries view everything in their own language and currency and can buy from multiple retailers (even from multiple countries) in one simple, secure checkout process. The order details are then passed on to the retailer to fulfill the order. Fruugo charges a simple commission on the sale.
In late 2012 the Fruugo business (founded in northern Europe by senior Nokia executives) was acquired by its UK Management team and is now quickly expanding its global reach both in terms of retailers and shoppers.
Optimus is the largest affiliate management agency in Europe and was founded in the UK in 2006.
